Objective of Accelerator

TMZ has developed a working source code called as ‘Accelerator X’ that is made available as a starting point for the development of MVP of a Central Server Management System (CSMS). X denotes the release number of the Accelerator. The Accelerator 1 contains the basic OCPP commands with one basic scenario implemented on the charge point and CSMS side. It lays the foundation of initial building blocks of an enterprise-level architecture that would be scalable and based on event-driven and microservices-based architecture. The accelerator saves time of initial 3 to 4 calendar months of an MVP development and helps in onboarding the end client immediately. The further development of features can be done on top of it and is reusable

Overview of Features of Accelerator 1.4

The Accelerator 1 is a web based solution that has the following:

  • Subset of OCPP 1.6 J commands implemented from Charger side and Central Server Management System side
  • Dashboard indicating the following:
    Based on each status of Charger,
    the number of chargers in that state and
    the number of ports
    Total Sessions Charged
    Total KWH Consumed
    Total Locations
  • It uses a simulator that works as a charger to test the OCPP commands
  • List page displaying the OCPP logs
  • Master Data setup from backend using scripts
  • Event driven, Micro-services, Cloud native enabled architecture for loose coupling, resilient, high performance and scalability architecture for loose coupling of system components
  • Java, Spring Boot, Angular JS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Apache Artemis(messaging system) etc.as the technology stack
  • Web / Application Server (Tomcat)
  • DevOps, CI/CD enabled
  • The accelerator can be tested using a remote physical charger, or a site having multiple chargers or multiple sites having multiple chargers
